ESEA MDL Season 34 Europe Relegation was concluded as Heretics fell to Secret at the final hurdle, leaving Fabien "⁠kioShiMa⁠" Fiey's team without a spot in the upcoming season of ESEA MDL Europe.

Teams such as Tricked, pro100, and Movistar Riders also fell short in Relegation, with the Spanish team eliminated early as they were not able to use their new signings Kristjan "⁠shokz⁠" Jakobson and Sebastian "⁠larsen⁠" Larsen due to roster lock rules.

Heretics, one of the favorites in the competition, ended up in the lower bracket after a 2-1 loss to Unicorns of Love before fighting their way to the lower-bracket final, where Secret overcame them and claimed the final slot.

In the upper bracket, Romanian squad Nexus marched through confidently to secure their MDL spot, powered by Valentin "⁠SEMINTE⁠" Bodea and Adrian "⁠XELLOW⁠" Guță, while Paweł "⁠byali⁠" Bieliński's AVEZ, who came into Relegation through the Polish Championship and the Climber Cup, dealt with Tikitakan, Movistar Riders, and 9INE to earn MDL promotion.

The new season of MDL is set to kick off on August 31, with 18 teams in competition in Europe. The league will play out using a round-robin BO1 group stage leading into a double-elimination BO3 playoff, with a BO5 grand final.
